The Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC) is a member-based organization of design professionals, educators, administrators, students and associates in communications, marketing, media and design related fields.
Since 1956 the GDC has been an advocate, voice and resource for Canada’s graphic design profession. The GDC is a nationally-certified body of graphic and communication designers promoting high standards of visual design and ethical and sustainable business practices for the benefit of Canadian industry, commerce, public service and education.
The GDC is the only national association in Canada for the graphic and communication design profession and has over 1,300 members in nine chapters across the country.
The Manitoba Chapter of the GDC has recently launched a mini-site that helps to explain the benefits of membership. Why join the GDC? The answers can be found here.
