For week two of my 365two project, I decided to keep a food/drink diary in sketch book style. For the last few years, I’ve been fairly preoccupied with what I eat and drink, so it was an easy topic to focus on. I’m supposed to be on a restricted diet for food sensitivity reasons, but this week, I only managed to follow it 2/3rd’s of the time. Given that food sensitivity reactions stay in your system for at least seven days (or so my naturopath tells me), I essentially broke my diet the whole time. That’s not great. On a good note though, I got lots of vegetables in!

Eating simply

For the last couple of months, I’ve been intrigued by the paradox that I find myself experiencing by following my diet. On the one hand, my way of eating is complicated and incredibly restrictive (there are just so many things on the “can’t eat” list). But on the other hand, once I wrapped my mind around what needed to be my new approach to eating, everything actually became very simple.
