I wasn’t a good 365er this week. I skipped two days, didn’t decide on a theme for the week and only used my SLR twice. The result is a random mix of photos. Friday night I covered the ‘Nightmare Nightcare’ event at the University of Manitoba (an IPE learning initative for nursing, pharmacy and medicine students). This morning I went for a walk along The Forks river trail with my friend David. We explored three of the five warming huts and also went for a warm drink at the new Thom Bargen Coffee & Tea shop on Sherbrooke Street. It has lovely light, quality drinks and great design aesthetics from top to bottom. I think it may become a new favourite destination. I recommend checking it out!
The warming huts along The Forks river trail are one of my favourite traditions in Winnipeg. I’ve only had a chance to see a few so far, but they are all creative, inspiring and unique. Can’t wait to go skating again so that I can see the rest.
