Six of my photos in Exposures Exhibit

By December 1, 2011Blog, Gallery Shows, Photography

I spent the afternoon helping to set up the Winnipeg South Photo Club’s members’ exhibition at the Blankstein Gallery in the Winnipeg Millennium Library (2nd Floor, 251 Donald Street). I have to say, once we decided what should go where, it all came together really nicely. There’s a good variety of work and styles, and I’m really honoured to have my photos up on display alongside some talented Winnipeg photographers. Most of the work included in the show is for sale, so if you’re looking for some possible Christmas gifts and happen to be wandering by the library, I’d say it’s worth a pop in!

Just a note: Although six of my photos are up on display, if you are one of the lovely people who came to Jeope and I’s 365 Gallery Show last February, than you will have already seen five of them.

The Winnipeg South Photo Club was started over 20 years ago by a group of friends who shared a passion for photography and wanted to advance their skills together. Since that time we have grown to a vibrant organization within the Winnipeg photographic scene, but the objective remains to provide an educational and recreational program for the benefit of its members with emphasis placed on the art of photography in a non-competitive atmosphere. The educational portion of the program consists of presentations, guest speakers and presentations by club members.
